Chelsea have finished the signing of Leicester City’s Danny Drinkwater for £30million.
The Blues, who had sought after the midfielder for the vast majority of the summer, at long last had a third offer acknowledged in front of the deadline due date on Thursday evening.
Leicester had already dismissed a £23m offer by Antonio Conte’s side yet the Blues figured out how to get the arrangement over the line at last.

Drinkwater said he is savoring the shot at Stamford bridge to passing a restorative.
He included: ‘I’m enchanted to be a Chelsea player and can hardly wait to begin. It has been a long excursion to arrive however I am exceptionally glad and am anticipating helping the club win more trophies.’
The 27-year-old is Chelsea’s 6th marking of the late spring and specialized chief Michael Emenalo said Drinkwater’s experience would offer assistance.
