The UEFA Men’s Player of the Year, UEFA Women’s Player of the Year, UEFA Men’s Coach of the Year, and UEFA Women’s Coach of the Year awards will be given out during the ceremony.

16:25 – NEWCASTLE MAKES LONG-AWAITED RETURN

For the first time in 20 years, Newcastle is participating in the UEFA Champions League, and manager Eddie Howe acknowledges that the competition will “stretch” his team.

“Behind the scenes there’s been a lot of preparation and making sure we’re [as] organized as we can be for the Champions League and everything that that brings,” Howe said to TNT Sports.

We have a ton of Premier League games left until the competition, so I don’t think I’ve mentally prepared for it yet.

“We need to be sure we’re prepared for it because it will transform the season and provide a new element.

It will undoubtedly put us to the test and strain us in a variety of ways, but in the end, I believe we should view it as a great positive. We are eagerly anticipating it.

HOW ABOUT CELTIC V MAN UTD AT 16:15?
Rangers may have been eliminated last night after suffering a crushing loss to PSV (see the highlights here), but rivals Celtic from Scotland are still in and might face either Manchester City, Manchester United, or Arsenal.
Bear in mind Union Berlin, too! This year, the Bundesliga team is competing in the Champions League for the first time.

Could City Draw Be Real at 16:10?

In a tantalizing scenario, Real Madrid and Treble champions Manchester City can be placed in the same group.

This is due to the fact that the current European champions are in Pot 1, while Madrid, who placed second in La Liga, are in Pot 2.

In other potential confrontations of the titans, Arsenal might be grouped with Bayern Munich or Harry Kane’s Paris Saint-Germain.

Imagine if Newcastle were to be drawn with AC Milan, Real Madrid, or PSG if they were in Pot 4…
