There have been new revelations about people manipulating their marks on the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

The examining board has said that applicants and their purported sponsors deceive Nigerians by falsely claiming to have achieved exceptional results or the highest possible score on the UTME by means of a certain piece of software.

Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma, from the state of Delta, and Atung Gerald, from the state of Kaduna, both claimed to have scored 362, but neither had received the 2023 UTME application materials nor had they taken the test.
