Former President Goodluck Jonathan says people are asking him to contest the 2019 election. In an interview with Dele Momodu, celebrity journalist, the immediate past president said he’s affected to tears seeing individuals shouting “GEJ, we would like you back”.
Jonathan, who ruled out the chance of returning to office, said reflections on his achievements and mistakes make him sober. “I’m not God however I sincerely doubt the chance,” Jonathan was quoted to own said in response to a question on future election.
“People return to me on a daily basis saying they need me back. I’m perpetually affected to tears whenever i’m going out and see the large crowds shouting GEJ, we would like you, even in the north.
.Instead of getting swollen headed, I truly mirror on my achievements and mistakes and feel humiliated and feel terribly sober. I even have never been a person of undue ambition.
I’m a person of terribly modest suggests that. I hardly travel as a result of the logistical costs. I’ve contend my half and that i have moved on.”
