INEC has set April 15 for new elections.

The Independent National Electoral Commission has set April 15 as the date for all unfinished supplementary elections for governorships, the National Assembly, and the State Assembly.

This was said by Rotimi Oyekanmi, the INEC Chairman’s Chief Press Secretary, on Monday, March 27.

“At its meeting today, the Independent National Electoral Commission decided that all remaining supplementary elections for governorship, National Assembly, and State Assembly will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Soon, there will be a detailed official statement.”


INEC said that the results of the elections in Kebbi and Adamawa states were not clear because of some mistakes.
