Residency: All doctors can’t become specialists. Some will become farmers – Health minister, Adewole.
Nigeria’s Minister of Health, Isaac Adeowole, who responded to questions from journalists at an event recently, stated that not all medical graduates must practice.
Health Minister, Isaac Adewole, who was asked what he was doing to resolve the problem doctors have getting into residency programmes, replied by saying not all medical graduates will turn out to become specialists as some might even become farmers. Here is the video below;

Minister of Health: We can’t all be specialists. Some will be farmers, some will be tailors. My gown maker was a doctor. He makes the best gowns.
