The reclaimed Dapchi girls are taken to the general Hospital in Dapchi for profiling by the military.

A parent of one of the girls, Malam Ali Abdullahi, told NAN that all the girls had all ran to their various homes once their release.
“Immediately the insurgents dropped them from the truck that they were brought in around eight am, the girls all ran home.
“Now, the military told us to bring them to the hospital for checkup. As you’ll be able to see a number of the parents aren’t willing to let their daughters out of their sight. however the military is insisting.”
NAN reports that vehicles are stationed at the hospital to convey the girls to Damaturu.
Most of the girls at the hospital looked ill-fed and wore Hijab.
Meanwhile, the Minister of information, Alhaji Lai Muhammad, has confirmed the release of 76 of the girls, adding that “process for the release of others is ongoing”.
