BankyW undergoes his third cancer surgery

Nigerian R&B singer, Bankole Wellington, popularly referred to as Banky W, took to his Instagram page to share a testimony of how he had a in carcinoma tumor surgery.

Banky W, who was filled with thanks in his long post, opened on how he had started the cancer battle ten years ago.

He thanked his bride-to-be, Adesuwa Etomi, for staying by his side and also urged his fans to not panic, as his story is a testimony.

He wrote, “A wise man once said this: ‘Scars. a symptom that you simply had been hurt. a sign that you had been healed.’ Scroll through the pictures to check mine.

“I’m sharing these because they’re proof of what God has brought me through and since somewhere out there, i do know there’s somebody who must hear this.

“For those who’ve been inquisitive why I’ve been away (for) so long, I had my third surgery on a rare strain of skin cancer tumours in my shoulder last month. the first two times were over ten years ago, then it recently resurfaced. however this isn’t a tragic story the maximum amount because it could be a reminder, and a testimony.

“A reminder that you simply should ne’er take life with a pinch of salt. you merely get round. Some folks visited sleep and never aroused from sleep. several differents have lost the battle to cancer and other sicknesses. several are still fighting. You never understand once your time are going to be up; therefore, don’t waste another minute.

“It’s also a testimony regarding the goodness of God. i believe I had to go through this again to remember how merciful God is to me. Lord knows I don’t merit it, but He saves me time and again, anyway. I keep saying i need to write a book. I really, really do.
