The singer was brought before the Ijo Magistrate court earlier today on three charges related to assault and stealing musical instruments. When the singer’s lawyer asked for bail, the presiding magistrate agreed to let him out on bail for N300,000 with two sureties for the same amount. The case involved stealing. In the other case, which was about assault, the accused was given bail for N500,000 with two sureties for the same amount.
The court also said that the singer should stay in jail at the Ilaro correctional center until he meets the conditions of his bail.
The case, however, was put off until April 26 so that the trial could start then.
