FG declares Xmas day, 26, Jan 1, 2020, public holidays

The federal has declared Wednesday, December 25, Thursday, December 26 and Wednesday, January 1, 2020, as public holidays for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

The Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, announced this on Thursday in Abuja through a press release issued by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Mrs Georgina Ehuriah.

Aregbesola, who made the declaration on behalf of the federal, felicitated Christians and every one Nigerians both home and abroad on the 2019 Christmas and New Year celebrations.

He enjoined all Christians set an example by the virtues and teachings of Jesus.
