The group says it’ll be having a consultation meeting with new presidential candidates who haven’t been running for the office before moreover as those not on the PDP and the APC .The NCEF advises Nigerians to support new presidential candidates as viable options for the 2019 general elections.

A coalition of Christians leaders have excluded the presidential candidate of the APC, President Muhammadu Buhari which of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, from a consultation meeting with presidential candidates.
The leaders under the name, the National Christian Elders Forum (NCEF), said Atiku and Buhari were excluded as a result of the parties they belong to, the PDP and the APC, had turned the country into the poverty capital of the world, The Punch reports.
Bosun Emmanuel, the secretary of the group in a statement said the presidential candidates that will be invited for the meeting are those who have not been running for the office before as well others who do not belong to the PDP and the APC, The Punch reports.
The group advised Nigerians to support new presidential candidates as viable options for the 2019 general elections.
This meeting is as a result of the calls from concerned Nigerians that the NCEF should engage the new presidential candidates. By this notice, the NCEF is inviting new presidential candidates to a consultation meeting,” the NCEF said.
“By new presidential candidates, the NCEF refers to candidates who have not been running for the office before as well as those not on the platform of the PDP and the APC. The concern of the NCEF is that both parties mismanaged the economy and the society in the past 20 years.”
